We can't get past the "Retreive Account" phase. Now, it appears to not be able to connect to the servers again. So, theoretically, we are installing back to where it was previously working. I fiddled with it, and ultimately we removed (uninstalled) BF2 and reinstalled from disc, but have NOT applied the patch. The internet was working fine to the computer, but BF2 could not log in. The patch seemed to install fine, but when bf2 was launched, all the buttons said things like "BUTTON_Main6", or similar. Keep in mind, this is from the SAME downloaded patch - it's not like they each d/led a separate one. The other one has had nothing but problems. One installed the patch over his BF2 with no problems and is happilly playing. My stepsons have identical laptops, both running Vista 32.
